Thank you all for the support you are giving me and my book Invent, Innovate & Prosper. The sharing and reviews have helped a lot. The follow-up support book (workbook) is complete and in the editing process. Our reviews and ratings (sales) have been very encouraging.

As many of you know, we take walking trips once or twice a year. This year we will be traveling once again, to include adventures and hiking in Alaska (we will take pictures)!

Walking has been a part of my life for many years, even during the running days. In my book, there’s a section on visualization, imagination and creativity, in which I write about the many inventors and breakthrough thinkers in history who have used walking as part of their creative process. For me, walking is where my mind is calm and focused, yet many ideas appear from that part of my brain. William Wordsworth, Charles Dickens, Soren Kierkegaard, James Allen, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Henry David Thoreau, John Muir and Charles Darwin were all walking creators.

In its purest form, walking as a creative thinking procedure evolved from Zen meditation called kinhin. Try your own version of creating on the move, and see what happens. I look forward to hearing about it!
